The Valorant Act 2 Battlepass is filled with gun skins, gun buddies, and other cosmetic items which you’ll unlock as you play the game and earn XP. It’ll cost you 1,000 VP which is roughly £9, so not too dear for what look like some pretty fancy skins. Onto the Glitchpop skins which give off a futuristic, dystopian vibe. The Frenzy, Judge, Bulldog, Odin, and Knife are all undergoing the cybernetic treatment. They’re definitely a step up from the Battlepass’s offerings with unique animations, but they’ll cost you. Here’s a little peep at what you can expect from the skin line. Each of the Glitchpop guns will set you back 2,175 VP, while the Knife skin will cost you even more at 4,350 VP. For the full shebang it’s 8,700 VP, which is somewhere along the lines of £70 (gulp). Last but certainly not least, the long requested Free For All Deathmatch mode arrives a day after the skin barrage. Up to 10 players are supported, no abilities, infinite money, and no Spike action - nice. It’ll give us all a chance to practice our flicks outside the training arena with a variety of weapons and fabled respawns. We’re also fans of the fact you can leave at any point during the match without penalty, further leaning into the practice arena mode we’d all hoped for. A new turret-toting Agent Killjoy is due to be released amongst everything too. We imagine she’ll shake up the meta a bit, so stay tuned for further updates on the site!
