In fairness, there was a big Lego man repping Thunderful’s Lego Bricktales that came a very close second to the Chernobylite babies, but the true horror of it can only be conveyed in audio visual form. He had a big red voice button, you see, and… well, you’ll have to watch our daily round-up video to see it for yourself. On a lighter note, TinyBuild had a truly wonderful stand for Alice Bee favourite Potion Craft, the crinkly herb mix ’em up alchemist simulator that launched into early access last year. I mean, just look at it. The level of detail in this little hut is just absolutely insane. Alice Bee might have also squeaked in delight when I showed these to her earlier on today. Top notch stuff, truly. Larian, the makers of Baldur’s Gate 3, also pulled out all the stops with their PAX East stand, building an entire fort to house their new demo. We’ll be doing a more in-depth tour of this stand in the coming days, but here’s a sneak peek at what’s to come. Finally, Devolver decked out their stand with some very snazzy arcade-style cabinets, and the Terra Nil one was particularly excellent. Since this is a reverse citybulider that sees you restore a barren wasteland to its lush, green, former glory, this cabinet had the air of an upright electronic hedge. It was overflowing with vines and leaves, and it even had a wind turbine perched on top with a fully rotating blade. Just lovely. That’s all for now, but check back later on for our full-blown show floor tour, as well as our first batch of indie developer interviews and more. There’s a lot of stuff coming down those video pipes…
